Abstract

The Global Sumud Flotilla is an amazing and courageous sea movement in support of human rights, freedom of movement and ending of unjust blockades. The operations of the flotilla are a response to the necessity of solidarity in the world in regards to humanitarian disasters, and it is going to face international blockades and create awareness of the situation of those subjected to it. This article delves into the history of the flotilla, its most important missions and the profound effect this has had on both the public consciousness and international diplomacy. It goes deep into the history of the maritime blockades, personal stories of the individuals involved, and trouble faced by the flotilla in its pursuit for peace and justice. The Global Sumud Flotilla with its undying rebellion and adherence to nonviolence has turned into a beacon of hope and conviction, giving impetus to movements all around the world demanding freedom and human dignity.
